Peanut Butter Fudge

Since I’ve been wanting to eat peanut butter but not on a sandwich, I tried this recipe I found in Joy of Baking.com.

They are heavenly sweet and nutty!

Let me share it with you.

To make these bars, you need the ingredients below and just follow the instructions.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter

1 Cup Unsalted Butter

¼ Tbsp Salt

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

4 Cups Confectioner’s Sugar

Instructions:

Line the bottom and sides of an 8 or 9 inch square pan with aluminum foil or wax paper.

Let the foil

Butter, or spray with a non stick cooking spray, the foil or wax paper – I had used butter.

Place the peanut butter, butter, and salt in a large microwaveable bowl and cook in the microwave for one to two minutes on high.

Stir and continue to microwave (if needed) until the ingredients are completely melted. (You can also melt the ingredients in a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water.)

Then, using a spatula or wooden spoon, stir in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar.

Spread the fudge into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon.

Cover and place in the refrigerator until firm (at least two hours).

Once set, you can simply lift up the foil, and cut it into 1 x 1 inch bars.

You may keep in it in the ref for a week.

Bon Appetit!
