Thoughts on a Saturday

I was feeling a little down these past few days.

I have lots of thoughts racing in my mind: career, finances, family and getting one, business and the list goes on.

Wheeww…

By the end of the month, I will be travelling home and is hoping that I will be able to unwind and relax even for a short time so that I will be fully recharged when I go back to work.

I am planning on starting another business or “raket” shall I say.

I was able to research on the business that I am planning and just need to check the suppliers back home.

My mom’s small rice business is doing well.

I have another thing in mind but I will be able to carry that one out once my brother is here with me.

Hopefully, he will apply for his passport soon.

Once I get home and visit some relatives and friends, I will go shopping.

I will be visiting my university too.

There is a grand feeling every time you go back to your campus: it brings a smile on your face, remembering the days – good and bad days that you had spent there.

I am on a tight budget but that does not mean that it will hinder me to have a good vacation.

I will have a blast!

Ciao!

It’s NY Fashion Week!

Hey Fashionistas!

It’s Fashion Week again in New York!

Models are strutting the designers’ clothes, the best of their collections.

How I wish I can watch one, live?

Who knows, maybe one day, I can!

Anyways, for the mean time, I will need to tune in to Fashion TV.

P.S.

Here’s the link for the full schedule.

Tory Burch

I had been dreaming of buying a branded bag as a present to myself.

I met an online seller who has a lot, I mean, really lots of bags and I liked this one too much.

It is from Tory Burch.

I had placed an order and is waiting to get my hands on this Robinson Tote:

The bag is spacious that's one of the reasons why I liked this one – I carry lots of stuffs with me all the time, has a fab design and it’s brown –I don’t have any brown-colored bag yet.

They have a wide selection of designs.

These are amongst my Top 5 picks:

City Tote

Flannel Tote

797 Messenger Bag

Metallic Robinson Satchel

Plaid Bond Mini Bag

The Best “Out of Office” Message

While browsing the net, I saw this interesting article about an employee who had set his “Out of Office Reply” quite uniquely and brilliantly, I can say.

I will also be away for a short vacation at the end of the month and will need to set a message too.

Read on this guy’s message:

I am currently out of the office on vacation.

I know I’m supposed to say that I’ll have limited access to email and won’t be able to respond until I return — but that’s not true. My blackberry will be with me and I can respond if I need to. And I recognize that I’ll probably need to interrupt my vacation from time to time to deal with something urgent.

That said, I promised my wife that I am going to try to disconnect, get away and enjoy our vacation as much as possible. So, I’m going to experiment with something new. I’m going to leave the decision in your hands:

* If your email truly is urgent and you need a response while I’m on vacation, please resend it to interruptyourvacation@[redacted].com and I’ll try to respond to it promptly.

* If you think someone else at [the company] might be able to help you, feel free to email my assistant, and she’ll try to point you in the right direction.

Otherwise, I’ll respond when I return…

Warm regards,

Josh

I am wondering if someone dared to disturb his vacation…
