I Recently I Turned...

It was indeed another blessed year!

I had celebrated my 28th birthday (hmmm, I was thinking if I will need to rename my blog once I hit 30…).

I have so much to be thankful for…

I have a good health as I can say…

My dad is still with us after an almost fatal cardiac arrest…

My brother was promoted in his work and am looking forward to bring him here in Doha very soon…

My family is still together and we manage to communicate despite the distance…

I may not have a lot of friends but I can say that I am thankful for the few ones who know me inside out, those who had seen me through my ups and downs…

I have a job – something that I enjoy doing and helps me provide for my family…

I have a partner who understands where I am coming from and loves me for what I am…

Lord, I can’t thank you enough!

Charades

My team mates and I normally have distressing activities every month.

This month, we played another round of picture charades.

We had fun and we had the most laughters looking at the drawings.

Check out our drawings and try to figure them out:

Portfolio

It was one Saturday night when Hamude and I tried to take photos.

These are some of the photos we had taken.

Hmmm...

Not bad enough for the first-timers...

Eclipse

After almost 3 years, I was able to witness the eclipse from Doha.

The sky here is way too different from what I used to see back home: no starry nights or falling stars on the horizon; no constellations to hunt and figure out.

I was so amazed when I had seen the eclipse early this week!

I am still hoping that I will get the chance to see more of such great wonders of the universe!

Pirates of the Carribean...Not The Movie

I can say that most of us had watched the highly anticipated movie, Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides.

And what I will write here is not about the movie.

I was in the mall with a friend and we had dropped by OPI , the nail lacquer shop.

They have The Pirates of the Carribean Nail Color Collection!

You can also find the shades here.

They have Mermaid's Tear (like teal shade), Stranger Tides (pale green), Planks a Lot (dark purple shade), Sparrow Me the Drama (a little hot pink shade), Steady as She Rose (light purple shade), Skull and Gloss Bones (greyish) and Silver Shatter.

Shatter Collection is one of the newest collection too.

It's like a top coat that leaves a shattered glass effect, depending on how you will apply it.

I got the Steady as She Rose and I totally love it!

Hmmmm...

What do you think?
